We are keen to ensure that all Early Career teachers have the opportunity to develop networks of subject specific enhancement to supplement their work on the Early Career Framework. This training is open to all ECTs regardless of their ECF provider; we aim to be able to provide strong subject specific networks across our region.
The subject specific enhancement sessions for Music will take place as detailed below. The method of delivery will be a combination of face-to-face at Sandringham School and a virtual meeting which will be confirmed prior to each session.

Emma Beaton, Director of Learning for Music, Sandringham School
Emma Beaton has over 20 years of teaching experience across all key stages (including primary phases). Emma is a keen advocate of blended learning techniques and has led several workshops for colleagues and at seminars on this topic. Emma is an experienced faciliator/trainer and also works for Olevi, the Nationally CPD accreditor. Emma is passionate about music and arts education for all and hopes to inspire you with the confidence to plan and deliver an exciting music curriculum and give you the tools you need for longevity in the teaching world!
Amy Stothard, Director of Learning for Music, Sandringham School
Amy Stothard has been the Director of learning for music at Sandringham for 7 years. She is a highly experienced teacher with a passion for working with young people. Amy has an outstanding record of achieving top exam results with her students across Key stage 3,4 and 5 and takes a highly innovative approach to teaching and learning. She has a wealth of knowledge to share for teachers who aspire to leading and managing a successful music department in the future.
Emma and Amy have significant experience in working with early career teachers across Hertfordshire.
