About Us
The Knowledge Schools Trust English Hub is funded by the Department for Education and supports schools to improve reading outcomes through bespoke support, funding and high-quality CPD.
From September 2026, English Hubs will be offering support three programmes of support:
- Early Reading Support Programme – support with early reading provision, including phonics in Reception and Year 1
- KS2 Reading Support Programme – support with reading fluency provision and catch-up phonics in Key Stage 2
- Secondary Reading Support Programme – support with whole school reading and support pupils with reading needs
Participating schools will be able to receive:
- an in-person audit, to assess their provision
- for eligible schools, matched funding up to £6,000 to spend on resources and/or training
- for eligible schools, a series of in-person support days
