Alban Education are excited to offer this brand new programme, ‘Shine,’ designed by shyness expert Nadia Finer from Shy and Mighty, the first programme of its kind, created specifically for shy and reserved students… by someone with lived experience of shyness, who understands what shyness really feels like. The programme follows a nurture-based, child focused approach, allowing time and space for children to feel comfortable in expressing themselves.
This programme is targeted at school leads in a Pastoral Support role, SENCO role or similar.
The programme that you will roll out in your school setting consists of small group interventions – a small group of children (8 max.) who are taken from the mainstream classroom for an hour – over the course of 10 sessions at your school.
Nadia Finer will work closely with your school’s nominated delegate giving them the guidance and skills necessary to roll out this group coaching programme.
Prior to each school session you will meet with Nadia Finer to go over the content and planning of each session from 4.00pm-5.00pm as follows:
