This training will be integrated into your January ECF training day and provide you with the opportunity to:
- Enhance subject knowledge for your school context
- Work with highly experienced subject practitioners
- Gain insights into tried and tested resources and strategies for success in the classroom
- Build your subject network across the hub region
Sessions will take place from 9.30am to 12.30pm. There will be a lunch break (lunch is not provided) and your subject specific session will then be followed by your Best Practice Network Face to Face session from 2pm to 4pm at the same venue (which may be different to your normal venue). This will enable your discussions to have a more subject specific focus.
The cost of the training session is £65. The training is not compulsory, and you must check with your school that you can attend.
The subject and curriculum development training for Secondary year 2 ECTs in Maths will take place as follows:
