This session will take place from 8.00am to 5pm on Thursday, 16th September 2021 at Sandringham School. There will be a maximum of 12 delegates which will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
The NRASTC is a supervision and rescue qualification for teachers working on the poolside or in the water during programmed activities, such as a swimming lesson.
It’s suitable for teachers working in a wide range of swimming pools, including pools where the water is deeper than the teacher’s standing depth.
The teacher will learn how to perform basic rescues, keep the swimmers safe and enable the teacher to rescue the casualty through poolside rescues, in water rescues, lifesaving CPR and basic First Aid.

The host site will provide a sanitised environment and will adhere to social distancing requirements. Any delegate who has had a positive lateral flow device test (LFD) or PCR test or is displaying coronavirus symptoms or is living with someone who has either tested positive or is displaying coronavirus symptoms must not attend a face to face training session.
