National Award for SEN Co-ordination (NASENCO)

We are working in partnership with Best Practice Network to deliver NASENCO during autumn 2022.  This will be a six day programme commencing 22nd September with all dates to be confirmed by Best Practice Network on acceptance.

NASENCO is a statutory requirement for all SENCOs in maintained schools and academies.

Your SENCOs will achieve a Postgraduate Certificate in SEN Co-ordination as part of the course (worth 60 credits towards a Master’s (MA) degree), improve their practice and develop networks of peers. The Award is also relevant to aspiring SENCOs as part of succession planning and to SENCOs from other types of schools and settings.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK VIA THIS WEBSITE BUT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW

Please submit applications here online.  When asked to state whether you have been recommended to the programme you should select Alban Teaching School Hub from the drop-down list as well as inputting the partner code ATSH.

NASENCO Special offer – Early bird offer – apply by 15th July 2022

Everyone on the course will receive two free logins to the ‘SEN Toolkit’ from Best Practice Network’s accredited online CPD library (valued at £200). The ‘SEN toolkit’ is ideal for teaching assistants or new/ inexperienced teachers supporting children with SEND.

Due to high levels of interest we are urging people to register as soon as possible to be considered for a place.

If you would like to know more about any of these opportunities or have any questions you can reach out to the friendly advisors at Best Practice Network, who are always on-hand to answer any questions and support your application. You can contact them through the livechat function on their website, on 0117 920 9200 or at nasenco@bestpracticenet.co.uk.
